Shanghai - House of Blues and Jazz

Its more about other places then HK at the moment but at the moment I m travelling a lot and have no time to do anything in HK.
Last weekend I went to visit Antje in Shanghai.
We celebrated her birthday in the House of Blues and Jazz.

Holiday in Italy

I m just back from my one-week-holiday in Italy and it was hard to choose the fotos for the blog.


The first and last days I was in Milan, even could visit Hugo Boss in Coldrerio.



The Milan Dome is finally completly restored; hopefully the pigeons respect it and dont sh... on it again :)

On sunday was helt the antic market at naviglio. Nice weather, many people, beautiful but expensive jewellery (anyway.. I could not resist to buy some)

Then I went to Florenz for the Pitti Filati and for sight seeing.

Florenz is amazing; full of culture...old sculptures and buildings.
There was not much to see at the Pitti Filati, so I walked around in the town and enjoyed the great food in the evening

I had the best panna cotta ever in the Trattoria Enzo e Piero, via Faenza 105!!! Try it!!!

But the best of my holiday was to meet my friends.

On my way back to HK I had to stay 5 hours at the airport in Paris.

I decided to go for a short trip to the center. It was soooo cold!!

I saw the Eifeltower (ok, from far away and the foto is bad..) and had a deliciouse crepe with nutella ;)

Now back in HK, its already 0.30 and I m not tired at all. Have to work tomorrow so I better try to get some sleep.

Like I said in the beginning, it was difficult to choose the pictures.

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!

Chinese New Year is starting and as much I would love to stay in HK and celebrate it here, I decided to go to Milan to visit my friends in Italy and Switzerland.
But here some pictures of the colorful symbols and decoration of Chinese New Year:

I was told, that the chinese name for "fish" has the same pronunciation like "left over". So.. as I understood the fish is for the new year a symbol for your savings (money or other things) from the last year. I like it :)

You can buy nice decoration; in fact the whole City, every building and every office are decoratet
and I couldnt resist to buy some thins in my favorite color.

The comming year (starting 0n 26.1.) is the year of the ox.

Besser spaet als nie :) kurz vor Abflug nach Deutschland bzw. China

Germany

Since I m back from my holiday in Germany end of December, I had no time to write. It was so good to see my family and friends again. Some of my friends I havn't seen for 2 years. The only thing I didn't see was snow!!! One day after I left it started to snow and in my home village it was even 1.5 m high. I m only glad, it wasn't that cold (until -25 degrees) when I was there; although I was freezing all the time. Here some pics of my friends:
